Neighborhood Easter Parties

Easter is coming soon!  This year Thomas Road wants to do something extra special for our neighbors. We want you to pray about and consider connecting with your neighbors in a special way this Easter.  Grab some folks from your Life Group, or grab some friends or family members and consider teaming up to reach out to your neighbors.  We ask that you prayerfully consider joining this great outreach effort in one of three ways:

1)  Host a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

If you have children, or are in a neighborhood with children, hosting a Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt can be a really fun and great way to connect with neighbors.   We will provide you the eggs, invitations, and all the items you need to have a great neighborhood Easter Egg hunt.  You just decide a date and time, invite your neighbors, and have a blast!

2)  Host a neighborhood Easter Party

If a cookout is more your style, you should consider hosting a front yard neighborhood party.  You can invite your neighbors to come over and spend time connecting with them.  Fix your favorite snacks or treats, and invite your neighbors over for a short time of fellowship.

We will provide you with invitation cards for your neighbors and assist you in planning this great time with your neighbors.

3) Prayer Walk your neighborhood.

We would like to invite everyone to take a special occasion to go on a walk with God and pray for our neighbors and communities.  This is as simple as walking down the sidewalks of your neighborhood and praying for each household that you pass.
